New Music Video - Good Things To Last

· The Weekend Gardeners

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new music video for “Good Things To Last” from our album Treasures That We Seek! The video was directed and produced by our friend Gavin Knox and stars Jordan Prince as the spritely adventurer.

The story follows him through a brisk dawn jaunt, familiar faces, and one confused soul trying to plug a lamp into a bush — all leading to an unexpected chess match finale.

The song reflects on cherishing the good things in life. Lyrics by Ida Jane Wilke pair with vocals from Ida, bass by Kevin Nichols, mandolin and harmonies by Ryan Hanson, and drums by Shawn Crawford.

The music video for “Treasures That We Seek” is a visually stunning masterpiece. Maia Fertig brought the lyrics to life with creative filming and editing, pairing the song with breathtaking landscapes and immersive imagery.

Working with Maia was a joy, and we’re excited to collaborate again. We hope the video resonates with you as much as it does with us.

Lyrics I want to walk into the dark into the great unknown Past the city to the hills Out from the fog I will walk into the trees Until there is no sign on me that you can see I keep my hands in the pocket of your coat And as I whisper in the cold my soul to keep Send my mother the letter that I wrote Saying that I won't be back home outside the week No street lights to adjust our eyes to Just a friend beside who agrees That we'd never mind If we ever find The lessons or the treasures that we seek There was a care, there was a dream We went out searching for it in the night To regain again, the stolen things To search for the meaning in the meaningless plight No street lights to adjust our eyes to Just a friend beside who agrees That we'd never mind If we ever find The lessons or the treasures that we seek No street lights to adjust our eyes to Just a friend beside who agrees That we'd never mind If we ever find The lessons or the treasures that we seek

Album artwork for Treasures That We Seek

Our new EP, Treasures That We Seek, is officially out! It’s a collection we’ve been crafting for months and we’re thrilled to finally share it with you.

The EP features four songs: the title track sets the tone with an upbeat groove, “Sunken Secrets” turns introspective, “Good Things To Last” leans into emotion, and “Communion” invites everyone to come together.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Sam Lay at Anjuna Recording Studio in Portland, OR, the EP features Ida Jane Wilke on vocals, Kevin Nichols on bass, Ryan Hanson on electric guitar, mandolin, and harmonies, and Shawn Crawford on drums.

We hope the songs speak to you in your own way — let us know which track hits home.

New Music Video – Sunken Secrets

· The Weekend Gardeners

We’re excited to share the music video for “Sunken Secrets”! The song — and three others — will appear on our upcoming EP.

Filmed by Cassandra Johnston and Shawn Crawford, then directed and edited by Shawn at BraveNewDesign.com, the video pairs psychedelic visuals with lyrics exploring isolation and the search for deeper connection.

We hope you enjoy the trip and stay tuned for more releases from the EP.
